For many riders, the fear of having to deal with a puncture can stop them from riding solo and can mean the end to a ride if they have a puncture when out.
It might not be the easiest thing to deal with, but it should not be a ride ender and definitely should not fill you with fear. Replacing a tube is a straight-forward process, practice at home and it'll be a 5 minute break in a ride and not a ride ending disaster.
